Black Velvet Void

A void is often thought of as frightening. Empty. Unknowable. But what if the void was a place of wonder? A blank canvas, teaming with energy and possibility? A swath of black velvet, waiting to be cut and folded and adorned with splashes of color and substance, forming into something beautiful? It was with this inspiration that I created these earrings.

Set with hand-hammered koru-spiral 14K Gold-Filled hooks and glimmering with grounding EARTH Element Black Tourmaline and AIR gemstone Labradorite, these light and playful earrings remind us to create. To find that black velvet void, that wild, untouched, unknown place, and enter boldly, adding our light and color and song. 

Black Tourmaline is a powerful grounding stone. With a strong and constant yang energy, it helps offer a bedrock for calm and clarity, soothing anxiety, and drawing any unsure or untethered energy down into the body where we can embody and reclaim it as pure, centered, essence. 

AAA-grade Labradorite is a mystical and powerful AIR gemstone that aligns with every chakra from the top down, calling in our creative muse, spry wit, and empowering our divine feminine energies and intuition. Set in 14K Gold-Fill, these unique Raw Black Tourmaline and Faceted Labradorite earrings sparkle and glitter with gold and green flash under the light, casting an aura of mystique and intrigue.
