What is Energy Healing?
I am trained in many forms of energy work, but the modality we will use in our work together is Reiki. My Reiki comes from the Japanese Usui lineage, and consists of allowing Universal Life Force Energy to flow through the practitioner and into the recipient. Reiki healing is intended to charge, balance, and clear the energy field, dissolving blocks, and protecting the field, so that displaced energy can begin to flow once more in accordance with your divine blueprint. Many find Reiki to be deeply relaxing, and report feeling more centered, vibrant, and able to sleep better. It can also help facilitate the release of held emotions for those who are ready to, as one of my dear teachers Joy Adler always says: "feel it to heal it."
What is Sound Healing?
Sound Healing can come in may forms. I work with a full set of Crystal Singing Bowls, along with koshi chimes, rattles, drums, rain sticks, and even my voice, which I use to harmonize with the bowls, creating healing overtones. Every session is intuitive, and is led by what the individual, or group, needs. Sound has been touted by many intuitive healers as being the "medicine of the future." Sound waves can penetrate us on a cellular level: opening, clearing, and recalibrating the body back into a state of optimal health and relaxation. When going deep into a Sound Journey, our brain waves can shift for extended periods of time into that delicious, liminal space where we remember the majesty and sanctity of who we truly are, allowing our cells to revel in our inherent blueprint of health and wholeness. Many leave a Sound Healing together feeling deeply relaxed.
I don't live near you. Can we still work together?
Absolutely! About 80% of my practice is done through remote healing. We meet on Zoom, deepen into the space together, and then I ask you to lie down in a quiet, comfortable space while we enter into the session together. In some cases, remote healings can allow a person to go even deeper into the healing, especially if the client has trouble with physical touch. While I, too, was skeptical at first at the efficacy of working remotely, I was immediately stunned by the depth of connection achievable. Time and space truly can be spanned by energy and intention. As a remote client said to me recently: "this stuff really works!"
