Meet "Pachamama": my Bump-to-Breastfeeding top made for a Goddess, and crafted with all of Mama's needs in mind. Shown here with the Eostre Maternity Pant, and made to order, just for you, in your size and choice of color.
Pachamama is designed to grow and flow with you. While pregnant, the graceful drape across the front can be worn down over the belly for more coverage (wonderful for those early months when you want to be exceptionally comfortable as your body begins to grow, or may not wish to share the news yet) or tossed over the shoulder like a chic scarf for those moments you really want to show off that gorgeous little one growing in your belly. Once baby arrives, this top has been designed with a cross-over design at the chest for easy nursing access, along with hidden breast pockets to slip in nursing pads for leaks. The front drape can additionally be used as a modesty drape when nursing in public. (Naturally, hold the fabric taut and be sure you can always see your baby's face to ensure the fabric isn't draping over their nose and mouth.) I honestly wish I'd designed this when I had my baby! Yet, as a mother who had the privilege of getting to grow and nurse my son, this top was created with everything I wanted during that time in mind, crafting something that would be ever-so-soft, cradle the curves, and remind us of our power and grace during this time of great transition, along with answer Mama and Baby's practical needs. Images 7-9 in the photo gallery show examples of this top worn after the bump.
*Note: Regarding sizing, every woman carries differently. If in your first trimester, I recommend purchasing your normal size. You may wish to consider purchasing another top one size up for when you're farther along, depending on how much you grow. Some women will be able to wear the same top their entire pregnancy and beyond. This top is designed to be worn with my high-waisted Eostre Maternity Pant. It has a shorter length than most Maternity tops, which is part of what allows it to go from Bump-to-Breastfeeding, and overlaps the top of the pant for a seamless, curve-enhancing silhouette.

The Inspiration:
Pachamama is the Fertility Goddess of the Incas. She is also sometimes termed as "Gaia" and "Mother Earth." Embodied with the strength of a mountain, Pachamama protects and nurtures life.
Do I Have to Be Pregnant or Nursing to Wear This Top?
Nope! While designed for expecting mothers, it is my great pleasure to serve women in all walks and seasons of life. Photos 7, 8, and 9 in the photo gallery show images of this outfit worn without a bump.
Why Bamboo?
I chose bamboo for its excellent breathability and sustainability. Honestly, I won't wear anything else these days. Because bamboo grows so quickly and easily, its impact on the environment is minuscule in comparison to other textiles. It's also anti-microbial and temperature regulating, meaning it can be worn through all seasons. (Though perhaps not for a deep-winter hike.) It also feels decadently soft, and hugs you in all the right places.
Why Only Custom-Made?
All Kaia Gee clothing is created for you, to fit your exact proportions. Why? Because if it fits you beautifully, you will feel even more like the powerful Goddess you are. Tops are typically more universal, and often do not need as many adjustments, however, if you are shorter than 5'0, or taller than 5'8, we will need to adjust the rise of the waist to nip in at the right place.
How Do I Get You My Measurements?
I ask that you kindly put your measurements in the notes at checkout. I'll need to know your Bust, Waist, and Height. There's a handy measuring graphic in the photo gallery to help you measure yourself accurately.
What Colors Do You Have?
I currently have six colors to choose from.
In 95% Bamboo and 5% Spandex: Black, Ivory, Forest Green. These colors are silkier and slinkier.
In 66% Bamboo, 28% Organic Cotton, and 6% Spandex: Terra Cotta, Dusky Lavender, and Violet. These colors have a bit more body, and a cozier softness, due to the addition of Organic Cotton. I love these for the Pachamama top!
When Will My Top Arrive?
At this time the estimated ship date for your Custom Goddesswear is 4-6 weeks. Art takes time, and I often have to create new pattern pieces to match an individual's body. I'm so grateful for your patience. This is slow fashion at its finest. *Update: My Black, Ivory, and Forest Green fabrics have already Sold Out, and are back-ordered. Please allow 8 weeks for the creation of Goddesswear in these colors.
How Do I Care for My Custom Goddesswear?
Machine wash cold on delicate cycle, and lay flat to dry so your Goddesswear retains the memory and custom fit of your figure. Heat from dryers, while oh-so-convenient, breaks down the integrity of the natural stretch in any fabric, so that they disintegrate much faster. Laying flat to dry takes a little extra intention and time, but it's worth it to preserve your custom garment.
Do You Accept Returns?
Every garment is made specifically for you, and I often create individual patterns specifically for you, based on your measurements. Therefore, there are no returns on Custom Goddesswear, but I do my utmost to help you order with confidence by providing you with the most comprehensive measuring system I can, as well as a plethora of inspiration images.
Is There A Way to See the Fabrics in Person?
Yes! For those of you who, like me, are a tactile person, I've created a Goddess Starter Kit you can purchase. Inside you'll receive fabric samples of my current colors, as well as a fabric measuring tape for taking your measurements with ease, flyers with my measurement guide, and a coupon for free shipping off your first order of Kaia Gee Goddesswear. In the NY area? Sign up for my newsletter to be informed of in-person events where you can feel and try on my designs in person!
